The project has several notable elements including:
- The Trillium Line Extension has a separately procured vehicle provider with a supply contract that is assigned to the DBFM Project Co.
- The Confederation Line Extension has a separately negotiated Signalling Subcontractor Agreement which will be assigned to the DBCo at Financial Close.
- The Trillium Extension is being procured as a “Wide Equity” procurement with no requirement for the provision of long-term debt and no Lender’s Direct Agreement.
- The Confederation Line Extension includes a $220M Highway Widening Project – one of MTO’s only AFP Highway projects.
