Calgary Green Line LRT

Stage 1 of Calgary’s $5B Green Line LRT program is an 18km system running from Shepard to Eau Claire and connecting four BRT routes. With 13 stations along the line, project infrastructure includes underground and elevated station buildings, bridge structure, three park and ride facilities and a maintenance and storage facility.

The Green Line program is being procured through an innovative progressive design build procurement model – one of the first in Canada. The project, which is the largest capital project in the City’s history, is currently in procurement.
