The Confederation Line is a 12.5 km light rail line under construction in the Nation’s Capital. With 13 stations and a 2.5 km tunnel through the City’s downtown core it will serve as the transit spine for the City’s transit network. It was Ontario’s first P3 transit project and Canada’s second. The project is $2.1B (CDN) and was procured as a design-build-finance-maintain project (DBFM). It is currently in year four of its five-year construction schedule.
